My Birthday!

I had a fabulous 18th birthday! I was able to celebrate with my best friends and we had a great time spending the evening together at my spa sleepover! My mom's friend June came over to give massages and my aunts helped give hand and feet massages as well. We had fun painting eachother's nails and just chitchatting. I love celebrating with my friends- especially when the theme was pink!

Relay Kick Off

Relay is back and better than ever! I'm not alone as a team captain this year; I am training seven new team captains so that the legacy of Relay continues at my school. We had over 300 show interest in Relay for Life and we now have 200 students on the team. As a school, we have raised over $1,000 already. Our goal is to raise $40,000 this year so we only have $39,000 to go!

Bowling Day

In February my dad and I attended the Father-Daughter bowling day for National Charity League. My dad actually won among our group so that was exciting! I steadily improved but I don't think any bowling leagues will be asking for my number anytime soon. It was fun spending the day with my dad and friends. Not to mention- the hot dog was delicious!

Convalescent Hospital Visit

It was our last NCL Convalescent Hospital visit since my fellow Ticktockers and I are seniors! We had a nice time visiting with the elderly and blaming Bingo with them. Of course, I had terrible luck! We also presented the hospital a painting that we did- they seemed to really appreciate the gift. I think we all enjoyed our stay and I hope that we will go again even after our time in National Charity League!

Happy New Year!

I can't believe that February is almost over- but alas, I hope that everyone had a very happy new year! We had our annual family new year party and there was too much food as always! It was nice to ring in the new year with the people that I love the most. We have so much to be grateful for and I feel blessed to have so many amazing people in my life. Here's to another year of friendship, happiness, and thankfulness!

Debutante Dance Party

In January (my how time flies) my dad, Evan, and I attended the Debutante Dance Party. We had such a blast reviewing the waltz and I have had so much fun getting to know my fellow debutantes. Everyone is so friendly and we are all anxiously anticipating the upcoming ball! We had a great time dancing the night away and we were each given beautiful pearl necklaces as party favors. It was a night to remember!
