Merry Christmas!

This Christmas season was especially wonderful. It was so nice getting to spend time with my family. Of course, it wasn't very relaxing, but that's to be expected I guess. I spent a good part of the break working on college applications and scholarships. Oh well. My favorite part was getting to spend time with my Auntie Nette, who I don't get to see very often. It's always nice getting to hang out with her and she helped me so much with my college applications! We had a great day on Christmas just all hanging out as a family. On Christmas Eve, we combined families and had a Cook-Farr dinner. It was so nice and everyone got along really well. Santa even showed up! I got a bunch of really nice gifts too- a pink bike, a pink camera, and a Burberry scarf! I don't really like the gifts aspect of Christmas but it was still fun to give and get gifts! I hope that you and yours had a wonderful holiday season as well!

Debutantes at Disneyland

A couple weeks ago I went to Disneyland with my fellow Debutante friends! We had the BEST time! It is such a sweet group of girls and we all get along really well. My mom and Mrs. Schoppe planned the event and it was magical! We had a party bus and we listened to Christmas music the entire way there. We went on a ton of rides and we were pretty noticeable in our matching princess sweatshirts! My favorite is definitely Space Mountain! It was pretty funny that we went on Splash Mountain- even though it was raining. I had a theory that if I sat up front I wouldn't get wet- I was completely wrong! We had lunch at the Blue Bayou- that was a really neat experience. We also watched the parade and saw the Fireworks Spectacular Show- which was definitely the best pyrotechnics performance I have ever seen! It was a superb day and I'm so grateful that I was able to be apart of it!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was wonderful this year. I don't know where the time has gone- it's already 2009 as I write this! We had the Cook Family over, including my new third cousin, Lexi. She is such an adorable baby and we always love getting to spend time with her. They grow up so fast! Of course, living with my mom, we had two turkeys for a mere ten people! It was delicious and we were definitely stuffed! It was fun getting to socialize with everyone and catch up. I love the holiday season!
