Lauren Cook: Sweet Sixteen!!!

This last Tuesday was my sweet sixteen- how exciting! I had such an amazing birthday party; my mom threw a surprise party for me with our family and close friends. She did above and beyond and I was definitely in shock.
Of course everything was pink- which is my favorite color. The balloons, flowers, and even the napkins were pink! Also, the cake was pink, which was the most gorgeous thing I have ever laid eyes on! Not only was there one- but three. They were heart shaped and tasted delicious. One of was white with rasberry filling and the other was chocolate with a chocolate creme filling. It was such a fantastic cake- wow!
Dinner was delicious as well; people could choose between chicken, beef, or salmon. The service was wonderful- it always is at the Saticoy Country Club. I think that everyone had a really great time; the food was great, the people were great, and the party was great!
I got some beautiful gifts: a Tiffany's bracelet, a Lladros Siamese cat, and a rhinestoned memory box just to name a few. Wow! This has definitely been the best birthday ever and I will never forget it!
