Food Share

Yesterday my mom and I, along with some other National Charity League members, volunteered at the post office to sort cans for Food Share. We were there for three hours and we worked the whole time- which is great! I was so impressed by how much our Ventura community gives and I'm sure the recipients will be quite excited when they receive all of the food. We sorted just about everything- from spam cans to finding a piece garlic- everything was there! My mom and I had fun together and I really enjoyed volunteering at this philanthropy.
