Record-A-Thon

Last week I went to Santa Barbara to do a recording of "My California" for blind and dyslectic students. It was a great experience and I have to admit- I felt pretty cool being in a little sound booth recording! I was able to meet the Ms. Senior California from another pageant system, so it was interesting to hear her story. While I recorded, I had a moderator who helped me record and she was great to work with. I never knew how hard it could be to continuously speak. My throat got dry after just about 20 minutes! The recording was awesome and I loved being able to support such a great cause!
